Honoring our Supporters and Remembering our Loved Ones
Have you ever wanted to give a gift to someone, but had no idea what to give them? It happens to all of us – that uncle who already has all he needs, or the picky friend who won’t give you a wish list, for example. Other times, we experience the loss of those we know. It’s difficult to get just the right thing for a grieving family. Luckily, sometimes good ideas appear where you would least expect it. Donations to Camp Fire Samish can be made to honor or remember that special person. In addition to a card sent to the honoree or family of the deceased, the donation you make (but not the specific amount donated) will be posted on this page. Honor a friend or family member today by donating to Camp Fire, either in their name or in their memory. It’s a meaningful way to pay tribute or show how they live on in your heart.
An Honorarium Donation is a contribution made in the name of the person of your choice, whether it be a former Camp Fire club leader, WoHeLo award winner, Camp Kirby alumni, or simply someone who means a lot to you. Although there is no requirement for an occasion, people have been known to donate in others’ honor because of a celebration, special achievement, a holiday or birthday gift, or as a way of saying thank you.
A Remembrance Donation is a gift made in memory of a deceased family member, friend, neighbor, colleague, etc., often in lieu of flowers for a funeral service or other special times of remembrance. Occasionally, the deceased will request donations instead of flowers or other means of condolence.
